THE CASE OF C DEV REPORT #9

New dev report for this Dev Hell called The Case of C here!
First things first, I’ve updated the status chart expanding it with new tasks. (Yeah ☹)

There are more tasks, not included in here, because they are ‘single tasks’ not per-scene ones.
Well, as you can see, a lot of stuff has been done:
- All coding was done with the exception of the credits’ text.
- All audio (sound + music) is already in place and working.
- I did a polishing pass on all the scenes. Which includes stuff like: functionality for Fantasy Cards, graphic adjustments, fixing some bugs…
- Meguido was fighting to make a system to show the short animations loops without having to do it manually. And… it took longer than expected.
- Meg was also fixing 2 of the animations.
- And finally, I added sound to them and put them on their corresponding scenes.
- After that, a couple of Debugging (testing + bug fixing) passes were done one without Fantasy Cards and the other one with all FCs activated.
- With all the problems solved, I extracted all the ‘events’ in text form.
- Then, I cleaned all that text, to leave only the dialogs which we need in order to make the English translation.
- I created a face set for the save menu.
- Finally, I added some extra art (old art and promo art for the project) to the image gallery and created some new ones.
And this is the stuff we’re working right now:
- We found a couple of weird glitches on the image gallery, Meguido is trying to fix them, but for now, he’s been unable to do so.
- We also have started with the translation: Title screen, Main menu, Options menu and Save menu are now translated.
And to finish this report, I’m going to leave here a new ‘in-game’ screenshot.
