Added 2020-11-06 18:54:09 +0000 UTCHello everyone!
Here is the second Dev Report for The Case of C and a lot of stuff has been done since the first one.
CODING
All the necessary scripts for this project are set in place and configured:
- Title Screen - We have repositioned and configured the options and added links for our support websites.
- Cursor - Meguido has updated this script (used on The Case or T +) to work on MZ. And now it's functional and configured to work properly.
- Image Gallery - The same as above.
- Splahs Screen - Added a script to show some logos at the game start.
- And a couple of scripts for some extra functionalities to MZ were added as well.
EVENTING
Some important eventing has been done:
- Main Menu - The main menu which includes the Fantasy Card System is ready.
- Secondary Menu - This is the menu that appears at the end of every scene and is ready too.
- There are some other events already finished like the notification window shown when you unlock an image for the gallery and the animation system.
DATABASE
The entire database has been 'cleaned' of unnecessary stuff for this project and configured the necessary parts:
- Added a new font for the texts.
- Updated the terms section.
- Update resolution to 1080.
- Music for title screen selected.
- System sounds ready.
- Character slots created.
GRAPHICS
Some graphics has been done aswell:
- For title screen.

This is how the title screen looks.
- For main and secondary menus.
- Ported the cursor and the animations frame from The Case of C +.
- And created 2 sets of facegraphics with expressions: one for Candy and other one for the 'guy'.

STORY
I've wrote a storyboard/timeline of events (and searched art reference for poses) and divided it on various scenes. After that Meg and I have divided these scenes (15 in total) to work on the posing for them.
ART
And now is the time to work hard on this, for now nothing except for the graphics mentioned above have been done. Now with the timeline ready and divided I have created a base scene with everything necessary, including the characters, assets and lightning to start working on posing and animating. (I even started working on one of my scenes...)
And that's all for now about this project.
See you soon <3
