Drop the Back Issues couch?

If furniture wasn't so expensive, it would be funny if for a one-off you had a couch with a chaise, just for the weird visual. I imagine you could come up with a silly reason for Ethan be laying down. I can also imagine Sal and Tiff or Ben somewhat strangely looking down at Ethan every time he makes a comment, him wanting to sit up and he's not allowed or something.
