Midnight in Port Puddingstone TEASER (+ Update)

Nearly a year after their seminal outing at the Nightshade Banquet, our characterful cast of gays, straights, outcasts, and social butterflies unites once more. This time, they meet in the town of Port Puddingstone ― new to some, and familiar to others.

Here, they'll meet new friends, strengthen their existing bonds, and perhaps even discover things about themselves they've never known.

Tune in next week for the exciting first four pages of...

Midnight in Port Puddingstone!!

~~~
Ahem...
Now, a bit of an update on the work going forward!
So, yes, the new comic is going to be starting next week. If you were around for the beginning of Heroic Nudity, you'll know we had a similar gap in the schedule, though this is for a somewhat different reason.
Unfortunately, both Game Night and Heroic Nudity leaked on other websites early outside of my control, and it was something that was very burdensome to deal with. Now, of course, I'm not super keen on delaying my work and inconveniencing you all just to stave off leaks ― something I know is ultimately inevitable when dealing with paywalled content. However, once next week rolls around, I should have all my ducks in a row so that we can proceed with the Patreon releases right on schedule.
Now, as for the public release, I'm aiming to do something a little different here.
Heroic Nudity's read-in-advance Patreon releases accelerated well beyond our standard "3 pages ahead" trend that you've been used to, and it's a workflow I'm looking to repeat here. Midnight in Port Puddingstone should be releasing 3 or 4 pages ahead of the public release at the start, and you'll be getting new pages as they're made, though you should be able to rely on at least one page every Tuesday as usual, barring outside circumstances.
Due to the release plan I have for Midnight in Port Puddingstone, though, I am going to accelerate the public release of Heroic Nudity now that we are all done with it. I'll be releasing one page of Heroic Nudity publicly per day up to the release of Midnight in Port Puddingstone, as I'll need to release the existing batch of pages for you all, as well as the first page publicly, in order to have all of my plans line up. This should have the added effect of drawing in additional traffic, as daily posts astronomically help accounts succeed, irrespective of any "algorithm" shenanigans.
Speaking of which, a lot of you know that I do have external obligations outside of this comic, and that isn't going to change. However, dependent on certain factors, I may be entering into a situation in which I'm able to work on the comic(s) relatively full-time, or at the very least making it the primary focus of my time. I'll keep you all privy as to how all of that develops, and I don't want to get anybody's hopes up, but at the very least, I can't possibly diagnose a long term reason why my work here would slow down by any means.
As the last order of business (though I'm sure many have left this gargantuan string of paragraphs by now), I want to give a brief update on the "exclusive comic" experiment and where I'm looking to progress there. Unfortunately, for personal reasons mostly relating to a change in canonicity with this upcoming comic, as well as the visible change in art-style I'm going for moving forward, I'll be putting the existing exclusive, "Movie Night", on hold for the time being. I think I'll probably remake it at some point, making it something of a prequel/bridge between Heroic Nudity and Midnight in Port Puddingstone, but for now it just occupies a weird stylistic and narrative middle-ground that I'd have to kinda uproot in order to continue it.
Now, for work outside of the main comic going forward, I think I'll be ditching the "exclusive" model. There are a lot of reasons for that, but chiefly ― things online move very fast, and I want to be able to meet those moments and make things that resonate with the wants and needs of my audience and with the aim of expanding my audience.
In simple terms: I want to make new things that will grow my audience.
So, in pursuit of that, I'll instead be shifting those "exclusive" plans into "one-shots," comics which will be published both publicly, and several pages in advance on Patreon, just like with the mainline comics. These comics will be experimental, oftentimes non-canon and with no relation to the "Game-Night-Verse", and will be made with the aim of exploring new characters, tones, themes, and kinks. Of course, from time to time, I would love to also do smaller side-stories relating to the existing characters ― showing the characters' backstories and even exploring them in potential elseworld/alternate-universe stories where they're superheroes, or adventurers, or astronauts! In general, I want to expand my scope. I've been doing these comics for years at this point (something that is still astonishing to me), and while my attachment to these characters is stronger than ever, I want to give you guys something more to chew on, and give a new audience something to come here for.
Anywho!
That's all, everyone. Thank you for sticking with me, for being loyal and kind and understanding and just the best goddamn audience I could have ever possibly asked for. I think of you all more than you could ever imagine, and you've changed my life. I can only hope to give back to you in kind.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.
Stay happy, and never live your whole life hungry.
