Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets

Did the sequel live up to my love of the first movie??? Which movie did you like best of the two? Let me know in the comments below! 💕

Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets

I also didn't want Harry to end up with Jinny. I wanted him to end up with Hermoine.

I didn't know that about Quidditch. Three months is crazy wild.

The Harry Potter series has a lot of "These are the moments..." Because I agree with you. It doesn't make sense that they didn't stop the game or one of the professors didn't help with the rogue bludger.

Finally catching up on these and rule of thumb about venomous versus poisonous is if it bites you and you die its venomous, if you bite/eat it then it's poisonous.

Yeah, normally I'm always onthe phone or something during the spider parts. It is the first time in a long time that I watched it. 😖

Everyone saw that film couple of times so belive me we want you to talk as much as you want. I personally use these series more as podcast just lessening to them and occasionally looking at my phone when I'm doing something at my computer.

Prisoner of Azkaban is next, and it is my favorite book of the whole series! Watching these with you is making me want to re-read the series again. :)

I have arachnophobia, but for some reason I'm okay with movie monster-spiders... or at least, the ones in fantasy movies like this one (probably wouldn't be good with them in horror movies- but I'm not good with anything in horror movies.) I was, however, 21 or so when this movie came out, so I could handle my fear of spiders as an adult. He may have been way more scary to me if I had been a child and couldn't separate fantasy situations/CGI from reality as well. I think the adaptation of this one is weaker than the first one - a lot of people looking stupid, where in the book there's more time to explain things so that it makes sense that they happen other than stupidity - you know? Like in the book with the bludger, it's not THAT bad, and Harry specifically tells people not to bother stopping the game for him, since it's manageable - he just messes up avoiding it at the very end and gets his arm broken.... stuff like that. The funny thing is that the actor who plays Lucius Malfoy is actually a really smiley nice guy IRL. He's a good actor. The movies were made really quickly - they came out every year, pretty much - but because they casted actors who were the same age as the characters (pretty much), when they go through puberty you REALLY NOTICE lol. By the time the first movie came out, 3 or 4 books were already released. The movies never really had to wait for the books. And JKR was also in touch with the movie screenwriters, so she could tell them what details in the movies they couldn't cut because they would be important later (or what they couldn't add, because it was against an aspect of the character you'd find out later). The next movie is my favourite book - and possibly my favourite movie too, though I also really like the fourth movie. And yes, this is the last movie with this actor playing Dumbledore. Oh! I forgot to say that I think your level of talking is fine. I didn't think you were overly quiet or overly talkative. I didn't think you were too talkative last time either. I think everything you talk about makes sense to talk about when you say it... so, it's not too much.

The hagrid scene was very emotional for me too girl so dw lol. I honestly love your pausing to randomly speak about your thoughts so for me please keep speaking your mind about what you think is happening or theories and etc. :). This movie is my least favorite BUT still very enjoyable (I really don’t get the hate it gets, I mean yeah it’s not the best one but it is still fun to watch and plays a very important part pf the storyline, like we get to know voldemort and stuff). YES I have arachnophobia and this movie is hard for me because there are so many spiders 😭, the argog scene traumatized me as a kid lmao I was completely on Ron’s side of freaking the f out. Yea this is the last movie with this dumbledore actor, also new director in the next one 👀. As you already know the next one is one of many people’s favorite (me too!), and it just gets better and more interesting imo. This one is very slow paced, can’t wait for you to meet more iconic characters!. And oh yeah harry’s “family” is annoying until the end so be prepared to continue to hate them 😅. Anyway, Loved the reaction! 💜 (alsooo, definitely try if you can and want obviously, to react to this a little bit early in the night haha, I’m just saying this because they are definitely long ass movies so at least you are willing to stay up until 3-4 am 😆)

I really enjoyed watching this with you. This book/movie was my least favorite when I was younger but they really grew on me as I got older. I can't wait to enjoy the journey with you. 💜❤️

I'll try not to leave as many comments this time but I can't promise that this one won't be an essay! 😄 Firstly, don't get me started on the end couples of this series! J K Rowling is a crap romance author, she should have just stuck to the main plot and left the couple choices alone for the readers to make up their own minds about. She went for easy, basic and boring, instead of anything interesting or surprising. The only reason why Harry ended up with her was so he could officially be a member of her family, because a family is all he ever wanted - never mind that anyone he married would be his family, it didn't have to be her, but like I said, easy and boring The Dursley scenes in the book were way better, they explained so much more. Harry actually got a warning from the Ministry for "using magic", even though it was Dobby who did it. This is actually an important minor point that becomes more relevant in the future Beware the red envelope of doom! You can't wait to open Howlers, they will open themselves! It's not Ewan McGregor, it's Kenneth Branagh who plays Gilderoy Lockhart Hermione actually asked about the Chamber of Secrets in History of Magic class, the teacher is a ghost, but it's one of the few minor characters that the movie series cut out and whose parts were given to other characters The rules for Quidditch are ridiculous at times and long-winded, however, once a game is started it cannot end until the Snitch is caught (one professional game lasted for like 3 months!), and nobody can interfere - with or without magic. The wonderful, creepy, mysterious word to open the Chamber of Secrets from the bathroom is.... "open" 😱 The password that Tom Riddle uses to open the basilisk's lair is "Speak to me, Slytherin, greatest of the Hogwarts four" Hope you're ready for a shift in mood and style for the next movie, different director, different direction. It was about 2 years between the Chamber of Secrets movie and The Prisoner of Azkaban movie. Not all the books were written yet but about half was before all the movies, so the 1st movie came out after Book 4 but before Book 5

I think your talking is fine. It’s really funny that more than one time you stopped to wonder about something, and then it gets explained half a minute later. 😊 Anyway, I’m really enjoying this. The next one is my favourite of the films! 🍿

I enjoyed watching this with you. It does feel like it´s been awhile and I don´t remember alot of details. Your reaction to this is amazing. You talk just enough for this and the last one too. You really trying to understand little details. I really like that. I can´t wait for the next one.

I have arachnophobia and when i first watched the movie (I think I was around 6 Years old) i cried and had nightmares afterwards. I was fine with everything else in the movie but the spiders really disgusted and scared me. I did not watch the movie after that for a period of time because of the spiders.
