Hobi is a born performer...he commands the stage no matter if he is dancing or just standing completely still. Also, the "SHIMMY, SHIMMY" part took me out!π

2022-12-05 01:51:54 +0000 UTCHe is truly something special. The way he is able to fill the stage with just himself and his presence and absolutely COMMAND it. He doesn't need to dance or have any complex choreography - he captives the audience with just himself, his charisma and stage presence alone. Even the way he moves freely across the stage feels so precise and effortless. He really is a once-in-a-life-time kind of performer and like a fish in water when he's on stage. There's a reason why this man is the performance leader of such an iconic group. Hobi mentioned that he was going for a different atmosphere for both performances (Lolla and MAMA) and wanted the MAMA performance to feel more polished. You really have to appreciate his attention to detail to ensure that each stage was customised for the venue and audience (Lollapalooza and MAMA typically draw different audiences after all). As others have mentioned, he was the main headliner for MAMA and performed one last song - Future. I really hope you find the time to go back and react to it π
