BTS - In The Soop - Season 2 Episode 4

Comments

My favorite part was Jimin scaring the shit out of Hobi πŸ˜‚ The fact they drank that whole whiskey bottle together, no wonder Jimin slept the day away. I also enjoyed the game in the rain with the Maknae line trying to goal. But I'm mad they didn't show who drew that dirt bow tie on JK or was it the BTS logo? Either way that seems like it woulda been a cute moment to show, but they never did. :(

Amaris

The difference between kimbap and bibimbap, so kimbap has sesame flavored rice with vegetables , meat, cheese and it looks like sushi cuz it's wrapped while bibimbap is a bowl of hot rice and it has bulgogi as a topping with egg and vegetables

Very true, JK is the maknae and always has been and seemed like the youngest but ever since maybe 2020 (or in the soop) to me he’s just been so independent. The way they always ask for him to help and he’s just always there is maknae behaviour but it’s also him being reliable and just good at stuff. Whereas Tae is someone who just seems so cute and careful. He’s not really needed for help but he’s helped or alone. I just find it so cute that they both really grew up and Tae did change but he’s always been someone who’s been cute and quirky and needing help for the smaller things which makes him even cuter. Jk on the other hand was so young and shy and then just blossomed into what he is now, I would say all thanks to the parents and the members and the overall life he had and the people around him throughout it including behind the scenes people. Sorry that was long

I've seen a picture here and there of Namjoon's abs but none recently. Some people have caught his tummy once or twice but it doesn't happen often

Christina

I cry when I see other ppl cry, so I was already tearing up when you did the first time.....then you explained further and I cried some moreπŸ˜…

Oh and btw about Namjoon, I think the only shots there are of his abs are from the early days of bts. I can recall two occasions, one when he lifted his shirt for No more dream and the other was when his shirt was ripped during a dance performance (I don’t rmmbr the name πŸ₯² but it’s an old one). Honestly I don’t doubt he still has abs, his figure is looking real good and buff recently. πŸ”₯

I so agree with you, for whatever reason Tae being cute is too much to handle- I can handle him being sexy since atp it’s expected from such a fine man like him. But the instant he goes cutesy he goes all in, full baby mode, to the point that even JK considered himself to be his hyung. I LOVE IT.

Bunie

I'm the kind of person who will tear up if I see someone else tearing up, so yeah, my eyes got a lil watery. My favorite parts were Jimin and Hobi going on a late night scary adventure (maybe whiskey gives Hobi a little more courage?), and foot volleyball in the rain. That seemed like pure joy for them, and they truly looked like carefree little kids for a moment in time. I just love this series, its a nonstop smile and awwww fest!!

I really loved them cheering for the female olympians, particularly the archer (I can't remember her name as I'm bad at names πŸ˜…) as she got a lot of hate from some men in South Korea, for her having short hair and being a fan of Mamamoo, so therefore she must be a feminist! (said as if it was a bad thing). Obviously you have to take into account the different cultural context but still, its so ridiculous... So the fact that they were openly so excited that she won, is almost like them making a statement in her support, against the people who were giving her shit. I love them so much for that! πŸ’œ And also the editors for having it make the final edit, as I'm sure they watched a lot of other olympic events β˜ΊπŸ’œ

Everything Goes

This might've of been my favourite episode and in general one of the most wholesome thing I've watched by bts like the time passed by so quickly, loved all their interactions with each other in terms of solo, duos or more like Jin said they were minding their personal space, then them cheering for women athletes in the Olympics made me emotional and think of my times with my family few years ago, bangtannies playing in the rain together and fully enjoying their time and resting properly made me so happy! I can't wait for you to finish all of BV because even though I've loved ITS, BV still takes the cake for my favourite bts variety show and in general my favourite variety show, and I'm pretty sure they're gonna film BV5 which Hobi gave us a hint sooo I can't wait because BV was definitely replaced by ITS because of covid, seeing them travel, enjoying different breathtaking scenery and culture is my favourite and us vicariously living through them I'm so pumped for BV5.

Yes , Jungkook might be the youngest by age but tae really is maknae.πŸ₯Ί He is so precious .Jimin tricking hobi was hilarious he really is a Slytherin. You did make me tear up . I wasn't expecting it till you said it.😒

JoY

We have seen RM abs before. He accidentally ripped his πŸ‘•. I can't remember what dance breakdown it was, maybe bulletproof dance break, correct me someone cause I know I'm wrong. But anyway, he ripped the backup shirt while ripping away the first costume shirt. It was literally years ago. He had to hold it up the rest of the performance. But it was a little late considering we had already seen all of him, lol. Jimin had also ripped his own shirt a little too much that the sleeve was hanging off, but RM did him one better. πŸ˜‚ Poor baby really tried his best to hold onto his shirt and keep performing the rest of the way through.

So can anyone advise what Caitlyn's bias revelations were for us who aren't able to watch the stream? πŸ˜‚ Hobi and Jimin's scary walk was so great. Surprised Hobi agreed to do everything but then again they had just drunk a bottle of whiskey πŸ˜‚.

I've had such a stressful day at work and am so excited to sit down and watch this with you guys πŸ’œ πŸ₯°

+ I teared up with you πŸ˜₯ I'm also really happy that they got a real vacation and that they have time to do whatever they want. But what makes me really emotional is the fact that they want us to be a part of it. By posting on IG and weverse, they show us how much they trust us and that we're not just a part of their worklife. It feels like I'm watching my friends having fun. It sucks a bit that they have to be in quarantine but once that's over, they can spend time with their families and celebrate christmas together.

One thing I love about them watching the Olympics is how excited they were when they watched women play sports. In my country, people mostly watch and cheer for soccer games but only when men play. We have one of the best female soccer teams but nobody really pays attention to them even though they've won the world and europe championship several times, because "sports is not for women". I just love how supportive bts are. The night walk is one of the funniest things JiHope ever did, I laughed so much. I bet they were drunk, or at least tipsy, or else hobi would've never said yes lol Jimin is such an evil boy πŸ˜‚ sope eating together in peace, namjin being a chaotic mess in the kitchen, cute lil' bean Tae ft. best maknae JK and then we have Jimin who is still in dreamland...so wholesome 😀 They filmed this at the end of July/beginning of August. I think the album will come out before their concert in seoul, so maybe February? Can't wait to hear what masterpieces they created 😍

i am sooooo excited to watch this later πŸ₯Ί

I've had banana makgeolli and it was really good!! I adore this show, our boys really pull on the heartstrings don't they 😭

I really loved this episode a lot and yes you guys did make me cry lol. It just made me happy to think of them actually being on break now and enjoying themselves fully. I know In the Soop was shorter this time for them but I'm glad they actually got to take a real break. And seeing Jhope's insta post (or was it weverse, I literally can't keep up lol) of his bag he got in Bon Voyage season 3 and him talking about wanting to use it on the next Bon Voyage got me excited that they will start up Bon Voyage again. I loved In the Soop to pieces and was thrilled they did a second season when I wasn't sure we'd get one but I know it was a show that was conceived because of covid and them not being able to travel at all, it essentially replaced Bon Voyage even though it was so much more because of how free and relaxed they were. The concept of letting the members choose whatever they want to do, whenever they want to do it and giving them almost unlimited access to whatever they want to try or use was so healing. Now that they have had 2 seasons of In the Soop I personally feel content and fully satisfied with that. If they decided to continue to give the members extended personal vacations like they have now and just do Bon Voyage without In the Soop from now on I'd be perfectly happy with that. They can continue the series with other groups that haven't gotten to experience In the Soop before.

The dish you were trying to remember that is made from rice and other ingredients and then rolled in seaweed is "gimbap" (or "kimbap") πŸ’œ I really love the soothing and tranquil atmosphere of this series πŸ₯° Looking forward to seeing your next reaction !! πŸ’•

When you mentioned the background piano music - I was just thinking it was like the music they played in 'Peanut' cartoons.
