NEW VIDEO! Garbo Amazing Ports (Ad free)

Hey Skelefriends!

Got a fresh one for you and it’s one you voted for! I love talking about bad games and you seem to love me talking about them too! Hope everyone has been staying cool these last few weeks, maybe snuggle up by the ac unit and dive into some of that sweet good garbo!

One thing that made this video tough is accepted a sponsorship spot and that added to the work load (though this cut should have no ads at all). It look me some time to get my mojo back, get a good production flow again. Originally this was going to cover five different games (MK11 Switch and Borderlands 2 Vita were cut), and that was down from ten! I’m waiting to see how this goes, if well, I have a second episode (and maybe a third or fourth) ready to jump. If not I’ll jump back into the other video ya'll voted on, a Delisted on the Konami Rebirth Games that are still stuck on Wii. That’s basically been sitting on “play games and get footage” since probably April.

Another smaller project I originally thought I’d have ready for around the Switch 2 launch was a “Best Deals in Video Game History - Don’t Buy $80 Games”, as a response to the Switch 2, PS5 Pro, and most new games just being very expensive. UFO50, Orange Box, Tekken 5, Nightdive Doom Remaster, that time Metroid Prime Trilogy was only $10, that type of stuff. I’ve always been a bargain hunter and very, very rarely buy any of my games at full price. That video was about half-way finished before I needed to put all my focus on the Garbo Amazing Ports video.

I feel like this project was kinda floundering until it wasn’t. Despite all the research and outlining, most of the final writing, VO, and editing was all done in about a 7-10 days. I’m hoping to keep this momentum going. I’ve got all these project that I’m sick of bringing up here in blog posts! I’ll see if I can have a bunch of them knocked out by the end of summer!

Also look for UDUG episode tomorrow and the voting, on the 4th of July! What a way to celebrate America, huh?
