Well here we are, deep in the Summer of Morbius, yet we still managed to have a video game podcast! We keep the obligatory Elden Ring talk to a minimum (though not Tunic, sorry listeners that keep asking us about it, we'll get to it eventually!!), before some how having an extended plant conversation involve Jared Leto, Grace's plants, and 70's synth wave albums. That Jared Leto Energy For Your Plants!
We also have an update on the next Doom ports video, which was voted on by Patreon supporters! We've decided to split the video and give the entire Doom RPG "series" it's own spot! It's an interesting series of games because there's technically 5 of them, Carmack himself had hands on all of them, and they've never been rereleased! And then a few questions to close out.

The death of the monster hunter claw was because of a mechanic added on 3 for 3ds. The target cam. It allowed you to lock on to a monster and just tap L to face it. This made the lack of a second stick significantly less impactful. At least from an American perspective

I can't understand why everyone praises it. I am jumping in that River with you. Same river, different reasons. :D

As someone who doesn’t care for the games that From Software makes, hearing every internet personality gush about those games for months after release kinda makes me want to jump in a river. I continue to be amazed how games that have not changed in a significant way since the first game came out over a decade ago can be so revered. I feel I am completely alone in this but I thought I’d vent this once (this is a safe place right?)
