Whoops let me try that again! It’s been a crazy month for video games. So instead of talking acquisitions, I wanted to know how you guys feel video game discourse online has either evolved or diverged from how it used to be and what stayed the same. I see negativity and hyperbole are still the king, but I also notice there’s been a big shift to longform deep-dives and things that just appreciate a game from all possible angles. Do either of you see the “this game is bad” ever coming down from the top, and do you struggle with views/the algorithm due to the more lighthearted, appreciative and informative nature of the show? I ask cause I noticed the more negative in tone (which is perfectly reasonable given just how truly awful that launch was) XBOX One past Mortem is quickly climbing your most viewed along with your MASSIVE compilation video. Both are surpassing years-old videos and that surprised me.
