Help SSFF choose a video topic!!

Hey guys!!

So Derek and I are hard at work on a couple of long term projects (Xbox One Kinect Doc, Zeebo Bonanza, and N-Gage follow-up), but we need your help to figure out what videos we should work on in the meantime. I've got a few ideas below, and don't worry, vote for as many as you want!

I put my face in an N64 game

• This video would explore the Gameboy Camera's extra functionality with the N64 DD, which I don't think a lot of people know about! Basically, I'm going to figure out how to turn Derek (and my dogs) into a Sim in Sim City 64 with real hardware. I'm sure there will be a lot of Mario Artist involved as well! This video will be like "what if Perfect Head mode from Perfect Dark was real??"

Tony Hawk Ride Punching Weight

• The Tony Hawk franchise is no stranger to baffling peripherals, but nothing jumped the Shark quite as hard as Tony Hawk Ride, a skateboard peripheral controller. We want to do a deep dive into all of it; the whos, the hows, and especially the whys. We'd also explore what other compatibility it has, and also test the Wii version's balance board compatibility.  

Bad Apple!! The history of Demoscene's "Can it play Doom?" Past Mortem

• Ok, I'll admit this one might be hard to explain. Bad Apple!! is a song from a Touhou video game. But it's so much more than that! After a fan-made music video for it went viral in 2009,  it took on a life of its own! It became a point of pride to code the video into all sorts of unlikely places, from the Pokemon Mini, to the Commodore 64, to the Atari ST, to Minecraft Sheep. You name it, someone's probably coded Bad Apple onto it. As a person that loves seeing Doom in places it arguably doesn't belong, I need to get to the bottom of Bad Apple!! 

Resident Evil Degeneration Punching Weight (N-gage + iPhone)

• In 2008, Capcom released Resident Evil Degeneration, a full-length, motion captured, CG animated film. The movie was released theatrically, on Blue-ray, and on UMD. Critics said that watching the film "was like watching a 90 minute cutscene". But Capcom didn't stop there. They also converted the film into a mobile game for Nokia's failed second attempt to make Ngage happen, and then ported it to iPhone. We have an iPhone with Degeneration on it, and I'm going to have to figure out emulation for the Ngage version, but I think this video has the potential to be bonkers.
