I like the idea of a poltergeist that's trapped in an abandoned house and feels compelled to keep the listener from leaving lest something *bad* happens. They feel bad about it but can't control whatever curse they are under.

Maybe listener has a recurring nightmare that plays out a little more with each night, and they also find that it becomes harder to wake up each morning until they get rapped permanently? Or a continuation of the hiding with an alien episode where listener is being hunted on a ship? I don't know, horror is not my forté. That or more of the space smuggler series since I just finished listening to it again lol.
