NEW VIDEO!! Amazing Game.Com Ports | Punching Weight [SSFF]

Happy Friday y'all!!

I was having so much fun playing game.com games on stream that I decided to make a video on my favorite game.com ports. I think these are genuinely amazing! What a crazy world we live in that Sega Fighters Megamix has only ONE port, and it's on the game.com!

We didn't talk about Batman and Robin or Jurassic Park in this episode since they aren't *technically* ports, but we're thinking about coming back to them in the future.

One production issue we had in this video was that we wanted to incorporate a second camera, but the camera's focus ended up looking really spotty once we got into the edit. I'm hoping that's something that we can really fix once we move into our new apartment on the 30th. So soon!!

As always, thanks for your support! And would you guys be interested in a Sonic Jam GameCom Highscore Challenge? I think I'm gonna start posting my highest scores in the discord and see what happens.

Thanks,

-Uncle Derek

I think it's letterally called "Unnamed Developer Debug Emulator" or something like that. It works in MAME too I think, but we used the other one.

I worry we're using it too much but we think it kinda works!

That fact about Sinistar isn't that surprising, most GameCom games had lots of speech! It was a system that could do a few things kinda well, and speech was one of those few things haha.

Before you post this for everyone else to see, I have one more ambitious port for you. Williams Arcade's Greatest Hits. That's where I first played games like Defender, Joust, Defender, Robotron, and Sinistar. In fact, all of Sinistar's speech is completely intact!

I love this style of thumbnail because it looks like Derek is serving up that good GOOD content! That Sonic port looks amazing, I'm going to play it ASAP.

I think the million dollar idea here is a series of children's audio books featuring the Duke Nukem voice

Good luck moving! Moving is a pain in the ass :/

Your excitement honestly made my day

Duke nukem’s voice on the game.com is my sleep paralysis monster . Also can you link the emulator you used for Game.com???

Oh wow, number 50! I think I came in around the halfway point, memory's a little hazy, but it's been a good ride, and looking forward to more! Just gonna sit here a while tho and be absolutely gobsmacked that this thing had online capability.
