SSFF Punching Weight Topic Polling! Again!!
Added 2020-02-07 23:45:11 +0000 UTCHi everyone!
Welp, Derek and I are off to the races and we just wrapped production on the Strategy Guides video, and we're already about half way through our Half-Life Ports video (which were the top two results from the last poll).
We decided to let Extremely Casual Games and the Mini Console How the West was Worse video ideas germinate, so here's a new poll! I think most of the titles are self-explanatory, but feel free to leave comments with questions or suggestions! I always find them to be helpful!! 🤓
If you're pledged at the Activity Feed + Discord Tier or above, expect to see this month's podcast later today!
Thanks!

I think it had more storage, for example Perfect Dark GBC was 32 megs and has tons of spoken voice over. It's overall not higher quality though, there was just more room, I think. Plus devs had figured out how to compress more data on to carts. There's a story that Iwata reprogrammed Pokemon, figuring out a way that Gen 2 could twice as big but still basically the same game, something like that. We're not a huge tech channel hahaha, so there's probably more to things than that.

2020-02-11 19:02:08 +0000 UTCWould love to learn about the limitations of the Gameboy color. I never quite understood how it made some old games in color. Also, did gameboy color games have more storage? Was the sound any better as a result?

2020-02-08 11:58:17 +0000 UTCIf you decide to do GBA 3D Part 3, you definitely need to check out the pre-release version of Banjo Pilot.

2020-02-08 02:56:48 +0000 UTCOh! I’m surprised GBA 3D is in last place. I’m happy with whichever comes out on top of course. It just caught me by surprise after I voted XD

2020-02-08 00:16:23 +0000 UTCIf you guys do the ambitious Gameboy color ports you guys should touch Spider-Man because it tries to be open world a bit and such
