NEW VIDEO! How Netflix Got Pulled into Microsoft’s Console War [PATREON VERSION]

New Past Mortem time! I've been working on a follow-up video on the Xbox for a bit now, but I got totally derailed by a little thing that happened in 2008: the launch of the NXE on the Xbox 360 – and its inclusion of Netflix. At the time streaming on Netflix had only been available for a year... ok now I'm giving away the plot of the video 😜
So anyway, I told Derek about how excited people were about Netflix on Xbox, and he pulled out the Wii's Netflix disc that someone donated to us a while back. I HAD to know more, and this video is a result of all that.
We should have another vlog coming out next week (which won't be charged to the Patreon) and we'll finish out the month with a Punching Weight on Game Boy 3D games! So stay tuned for that.
I also included my sources below in case anyone wants to know more/check up on our work! I think that's something we'll start doing for our Past Mortems since we occasionally get asked about it and I've seen others do it.... however this list is too long for YouTube's description box, so I'll have to trim the list down for actual posting 😅
