New Video! Out of the Ashes: Mega Man 11 and Mighty No. 9

Hello everyone!

Originally conceived as a follow-up to our series on Mighty No. 9 and Keiji Inafune (thanks to The Metal Gamer for the idea!), we had to rewrite and reconceive this video after Capcom released its Switch trailer for Mega Man 11 a couple days ago.

We followed up on what's been happening with Mighty No. 9's rewards,  the company behind the Kickstarter and consider what would have happened to Mega Man if Mighty No. 9 hadn't been such a hot, hot mess.

... we're still workshopping the title and the thumbnail! There's going to be a more limited exclusivity on this video because we want to get it out as soon as possible. So, here's a crappy thumbnail I made as a joke for Derek.

Thanks everyone for the support, and stay powerful!

After watching this I looked back on your old Megaman videos. I always really liked that you started the Megaman 10 review by saying "Maybe if we're nice we'll get Megaman 10 right?" I hope when you guys get around to reviewing Megaman 11 that you preface the video by showing old footage of you saying "if Megaman 11 is on the way, all I can do is plead with Capcom to keep things simple" :)

Man, I sure hope if they cancel the 3DS port officially, they'll at least give those backers another option for the game :-/

Great stuff. And now that you mention it, a Certified Classic episode on Mega Man 2 and/or 3 would be sick!

Great video! I've always felt like Red Ash could be read as Re Dash or "Dash again". Mega Man Legends was called Rockman Dash in Japan.
