2018-04-13 00:40:56 +0000 UTCI've always been curious to hear your opinions on Undertale. I really like it (though on a 9/10 level as opposed to Earthbound's 10/10). And with the exception of some art assets, it really was developed by one person. Most of the names in the credits are Kickstarter backers and maybe the people who helped with the console ports. So the Xenoblade games do some interesting things with exploration and difficulty that you mentioned. They love to plant high level monsters in the beginning areas that kill you instantly, but most of them are docile (won't attack unless you attack first), and you only go back to the last landmark if you die. You don't lose any loot or experience thankfully. But if you're not into RPGs, Xenoblade will probably get on your last nerve. Excessive length, overstuffed with mechanics, uneven difficulty spikes, FIELD SKILLS FUCK YOU, things like that.
