Hello Supporters!
We've had a whirlwind month this June with two trips eating into our production schedule. But we're still on schedule for 3 videos this month! This will be the first one, a new Punching Weight covering console Real-Time Strategy games. We finally get to talk about another game that inspired this show, Starcraft 64! Fun fact, I actually shot an IIRTB for Starcraft 64 years ago, but abandoned it. We also cover the N64 port of Command & Conquer and the super-underappreciated Goblin Commander! Huge thanks to Alex Carter from SHouseStudio for helping with the edit on this one!
We are also working on a Past Mortem on the history of the Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death, which if you we are Too Many Games this last weekend you'd have heard an early draft of that video, and a Mini Mortem on Miyamoto's insistence that Pikmin was going to be the next Mario Bros. Though we spent the weekend at Too Many Games, we also spent a lot of our free time writing these two scripts and we'll be working nonstop the next few days to get them out to y'all!
Punching Weight will only be exclusive for a few days, but the other two will be exclusive for one and two weeks respectively.
