Added 2015-10-24 01:45:51 +0000 UTC
Our biggest update! Welcome to Phase 2 of the SSFF Patreon! New tiers, new goals, new craziness! All is explained in the video above and on the updated Patreon page, but if you have any questions feel free to ask them below!
We'll be working through the weekend on Halloween videos, that's still the #1 priority so we will answer questions as quickly as possible!
You two are mirrors of each other, I swear but, on a serious note,if I had the money Derek i give you millions, but i just don't, anyway i have been a fan of your videos for years, ever since I was 14 back in 2007, obviously now that I am older and much wiser 23 year old, your videos only seem to get better and better.

setting aside a bit of cash on each payout is basically of our plan on the back end but this is a way more clever way to bring the audience into things. we wouldn't be able to pull the trigger on this until after the holidays due to other traveling commitments and we figured we'll have made a enough videos by the time we cross $800 to have saved up for it. and to be fair, the milestone language states that it's just to help cover the cost, not completely funding it so we wont be rewriting this milestone wont be happening.

So for the mailing club, what if we already own the game you plan to send? Do we keep it anyway?

(Sorry for the extra emails you would have received for this; I neglected to Shift + Enter after paragraph two.)
Take this with a grain of salt, since I know I do finances differently than most.
I'm not sure it makes sense to say that at the $X/month level we're going to do Y. The per month figure is a recurring event, while the RAID, in this case, is probably just a one-time event.
Wouldn't it be better, long-term, to treat these one-off events (as I'm hoping you'l be doing videos for many years) as ... bits on top of existing tiers?
So, tier $600 = $50 per month set assigned for the RAID, and once $800 total is hit, we attack.
Sort of the same for some of the upper tiers, right? 'At $00/month we'll be able to start putting money toward better audio equipment.' Otherwise the tiers are constantly changing.
But maybe that's what Patreon recommends?
I fear I might be a bit of a downer with this comment, so ... Congrats on the milestone :D
EDIT: I can't respond to your response, so:
Thanks for the info, and thanks for the response!
