If yall haven't heard yet, Koji Igarashi is pulling a Mighty No 9 and kickstarting his own Castlevania reboot without Konami. I actually had prior knowledge of this kickstarter a few weeks ago but had to keep quiet about it. But I took the opportunity to start a review of Symphony of the Night as the first episode of a new show re-examining landmark video games. I've got a cool name and a format all figured out and hope to have that video out shortly after the Monster Party review. See you soon!!

2015-05-11 23:20:41 +0000 UTCI'll be playing the PS1 disk and just talking about the core game, whether or not it still holds up. I've always heard the Saturn version was crap, despite playable Maria and a slightly bigger castle. Way more loading, lots of slow down, much worse graphics overall.

2015-05-11 23:00:04 +0000 UTCI wonder how that will work out, since there's also the 360 version and Dracula X Chronicles on PSP. Even the exclusive stuff in the Saturn version. Mainly Maria and a new area, even though that version was only in Japanese.
