Closing up the "Mewtwo Shampoo" saga, I have a large archive of images that semi-relate as "progress shots". I abandoned a lot of things and alternate things.
Originally, this behind-the-scenes backstory was going to be part of the first post, but it's also wordy and boring, so download and enjoy the attachments instead.
Behind-the-Scenes
The attachments break down into three subcategories:
oldsketches.zip are the scrapped originals, probably made up around 2018. They were meant to be a set of three, set around the "Mewtwalen" miracle drug. Mewtwalen was supposed to be a mishmash of made up and inconsistent effects, uses, side-effects, and ingredients. The inconsistency of drug facts with identical look of the bottles was the gimmick, inferring that this was an extremely unsafe compound with Mewtwo-based side effects.
oldwip.zip was the first batch of fully colored, shampoo-based storylines. They were made in 2020, felt almost finished but not-quite, then was accidentally lost :S. I wanted to redo the face mostly, as I was getting a lot of feedback that it looked 'off'. I'm really glad I took the time and did cleanups, even if it took 5 years to find it again X3
scrapped_weiner_sequence.zip is exactly what you think it is. I didn't really do much with it's 2020 counterpart, aside from add flat colors, and reconstruct the last bits. Enjoy the madness.
