September Madlibs (See inside!)
Added 2019-09-02 17:49:25 +0000 UTCMadlib participation is open until 9/30
For this next monthly project, I wanted to try to push on the audience participation even heavier, so I'll be drawing a bizarre single to two images based off a story, and YOU get to choose what's involved!
If you're not familiar with the concept of Madlibs, it's a kids game that involves a large amount of fill-in-the-blank story telling where you fill in nouns, verbs, etc blindly and then after everything is filled in you get the story.
This website is a free facsimile of the game: https://www.madtakes.com/
For this post, I have a list of fill-in-the-blanks. There are 21 words, and each patron can choose to fill at most five words (and I will randomly fill a word too from time to time). Influencers will also have special access to view the story, so they have more control of which blanks they want to fill, but otherwise it's fairly blind game.
Please play the game in order using comments on this post and put the number next to the word, so its easy for the next person. Don't just comment with the word of your choosing out of order. I will delete/ignore out of order suggestions. Only one word/phrase per comment. If you have questions, you can PM me directly.
Here's the list!
Words:
1. place,
2. type of beverage,
3. gender pronoun,
4. animal,
5. adjective,
6. part of the body,
7. color,
8. type of relation (friend, parent, rival, etc)
9. emotion
10. one of the five senses
11. emotion
12. adjective
13. part of the body
14. article of clothing
15. adjective
16. part of the body
17. part of the body
18. gender pronoun
19. type of sound (cough, cackle, honk, etc)
20. emotion
21. noun
Hints: This story is heavily transformation based. I tried to make sure every word impacts the story, but there inevitably some bias. If the words are played just right, it can become a UDTF. Remember, only two words per patron, and you don't have to play both immediately. Choose wisely!
I will end this contest on 9/30. If not all words are filled by then, I'll do something drastic so that the list gets filled.
Edit : I just used up by my first guess in the comments, so there's an example. Hopefully that helps.
