Double for Sister in College

Back just in time for "Back to School" season.

“This isn’t going to work… I’m going to be embarrassed and might get locked up. You’ll most likely be expelled!”

“Shut up and stop being such a whiny sissy. All you need to do is get through a semester or two while I’m away. Just transferred here so no one knows who I am and you basically have a fresh palette to work with. Just remember to keep your voice feminine, walk like a girl, and spread your drama once you have some with a boy or frenemy or something.”

“How did you even talk me into this…”

“What else were you going to do? You didn’t want to go to college and thought for sure you would get that apprentice job. At least you know how the economy and job market is right now! I’m at least going to enjoy my self-created gap year and see parts of the world. Then can come back once you… or I .. graduate and can get a master’s.”

“You just said a semester or two?! I have my own life to live!”

“Not for now… You’ll be me. It will teach you what women go through and maybe you’ll gain some new skills to impress a future girlfriend. We already spent all summer prepping you for this. You can at least shave your legs, style your hair, and do your own makeup now.”

“But I don’t like it! Too much time involved and I feel ridiculous having to tuck everyday.”

“It’s not even noticeable! Turn around.... Yeah… not even a hint of it showing. You’ll be fine in the girl’s dorm, just make sure your towel covers everything when taking a shower.”

“And you expect me to just jump into your major?”

“It’s junior year! Undeclared! Last two years have been general electives. Why don’t you just pick something easy for me? Once I find myself while traveling the world, I can always come back and change it.”

“This is the first time you’ve said that. If that’s the case, then why even go to college in the first place… let alone force your brother to take your place!”

“Don’t want to waste any time in case I need a degree! Besides, you look just like me. Remember to take your pills every day so your testosterone levels will lower and I booked this special at a nearby wellness place that can do laser hair removal on your face so you won’t have to shave everyday.”

“Isn’t that stuff permanent? Why are you just now bringing up new stuff?!”

“That enough talk about it. I came here to drop you off, get you settled, and that’s it. No need for anyone to see that we look alike and question if you have a twin or not! I’ll see you when I see you. Traveling to some pretty remote parts of the world so if you don’t hear from me for a long time, that’s probably why. Good luck in school!”
