Being a writer is weird
Added 2025-04-11 16:30:51 +0000 UTCYesterday, I hit a bit of a snag on a chapter. I took a little stroll to think more clearly, and while I found some answers, I still wasn't quite sure how to continue the chapter.
Then, this morning, I woke up at 3:30, and my mind was conjuring up scene after amazing scene. I spent about an hour trying to get back to sleep, only to get on my phone every five minutes or so to make notes, as my brain refused to slow back down.
If I hadn't been worried about waking my girlfriend, I probably would've just grabbed my laptop and gotten to work. :p
Instead, I eventually did the responsible thing, and went back to sleep.
And just now, while working out some of my notes, I made myself cry with my own writing for the second time since I've started on Book Two. ^^'
Don't worry; this tends to happen when I write intense emotional scenes. It's all part of the process. ;)
Anyway, I'm very happy with the stuff I've come up with, and can't wait for you guys to hit these chapters! ^^
