I'm working on some new tote bags and I've been testing out the samples! I got 3 made with slightly different specs and fabric to see which one works best for groceries.
I had a really "smart" idea to make a bag with a bunch of inner pockets for organization, but when we were using it, the pockets were kinda useless since we just dumped everything into the main compartment :p The inner pockets also made the bag a lot heavier and bulkier which I didn't like.

I also tested out two different kinds of fabric - one that is white and one that is a more natural/canvas color. I like how the natural canvas looks and feels, except the little black specs are a bit off putting for me (they are part of the fabric). Which one do you like more?

The last one has a zipper which I thought would be nice to try. But it felt a little awkward on such a large tote and also restricted how much the bag could hold. I want this tote to be big and comfy to use for putting lots of groceries in!

Overall I'm really excited to be making another tote bag and it's been awesome for doing grocery runs! It's big, sturdy and the front pocket is a nice extra to put stuff into.
I'm doing a second round of samples now to make a small change to the front pocket, but I'm already really happy with it. The big thing is the fabric, which I'm still on the fence with. Do you prefer the tote that is white or natural canvas?
