Ok so recently I've gone back into the habit of doing a study or a warmup before I go into my work for the day, and wow I've noticed a HUGE different in efficiency and quality ever since I started doing this. It's like stretching before a workout! Now when I do warmups like this before starting, I notice I'm making way less mistakes in my actual art and am able to draw what I wanted way easier. Kind of like getting all the rust off before starting for real.
Some of these are studies based on what I'm going to be drawing that day. For example I drew cars because that day I was designing some vehicle concept art for my project. The pose studies is when I'm gonna be sketching some new character fanart and want to get a good pose down. The expression/face studies is when I'm planning on detail drawing over a sketch and need to practice faces. ANYWAY i found that tailoring the studies I do to what I'm actually gonna be working on that day made it way easier to keep up with the studies and made them more relevant to me.
And some of these are just random ass sketches, like that page with Gwen that has some xenoblade 3 DLC art ideas on the side LOL
