Hey peeps, I didn't get as much done as I wanted, doing BJ animations is still new to me so it's hard to make exactly what I want so I end up kinda just stagnating for a bit. Anyway, still some good previews this time.
The animations left were the cumming animations which to me are some of the more complex. I still don't know how I plan to tackle cum in every scenario, I do plan on implementing these animations this month but the cum may not make it in.
The next animations needed for this are the "advanced" animations which include combination variants and "deep" blow jobs. So, there's enough for the feature to work but not for the full progression.
Regardless this is one of the major tasks done.
After finishing those animations, I decided to prepare some implementation stuff. I saw some videos on the PlayablesAPI which would help simplify some of my setup. Unfortunately, that system requires more management code wise than I'm willing to do. So instead, I simply deiced to use an asset I've been avoiding for some reason all this time called Animancer which allows controlling animations by code.
This will help simplify some setup, and maybe at some point certain features will use more code than previous setup. Main issue with why I didn't use this stuff is some concerns with layering fascial expressions and such, but it seems Animancer handles that decently enough.
I should also be able to better utilize scripts in scene activation as well which has been an issue.

Additionally, I've replaced the functions related to displaying inputs on the UI, so now that should look a lot better and display icons for controllers. Still needs some adjustments but overall, it should be much more improved.
I also upgraded the project to Unity 6.1 which has a new thing called Deffered+ which may allow for some improved performance and visuals I haven't tested this yet but we'll see. I did consider 6.2 but there's too many potential problems but doing that would allow for expanded LoD use.

One aspect of "Forest Project" I talked about earlier that I didn't mention is with side projects like this I intend to be less protective of the assets. So don't expect this sort of thing for Naomi, not any time soon anyway. But for stuff like Kalan and Naiara expect model releases, so people can make whatever they like with them.
Kalan (The wolf here) has had their rigging finished, and I consider them like 95% done overall, I mostly just want to update the eye texture then I'll be good.
Expect his rigged model to be released sometime this month for all supporters. And maybe more publicly in due time like on SmutBase or something.
Do know, when Naiara (the fox girl) gets released, she will likely only be released on SubscribeStar due to her body type. Her model is a bit more delayed cause she still hasn't been rigged, and I want to redo her hair.
That's the goal, I want to get the blow job animations in, and update the dialogue for that, then do an experimental release. I still have animations that need to be done though, so it does depend on some things.
Do note if the blow job animations get implemented dialogue and cum may be missing for now. I may also change the progression a bit for blowjob training.
Here's a list of goals for the coming months, not a true roadmap but a little bit of perspective. And roughly in order...
Short Term: Blowjob Training Implementation (likely partial no visual cum)
Short Term: Completed VN style dialogue implementation
Short Term: Act 1-4 Cinematic implementation (Most gray cards replaced)
Short Term: Implement more sex sim likes, buffs and debuffs, along with dialogue
Mid Term: Foreplay Animations
Mid Term: Additional conclusion scenes for Sex Sim/BJ Training
Mid Term: New Male Avatar items
Mid Term: General Polish
We'll get more specific with time.
