They speak Urdu which is a language originated in what is today India, but both the languages hindi and urdu, unless you are speaking "pure hindi/urdu" are very similar, since urdu is originated from hindi. Hope you can let the gang know about this as well

All the actors are obviously indian since Pakistani actors don't work in India & this movie was also filmed in India on the entire sets they built to replicate the areas and the decades of the places in Pakistan portrayed in the film
