I just wanted to point out some things in the J Balvin reaction I noticed Goodluck included France as a Latino country and France is actually European not Latino. Also In the last reaction to Lady Marmalade about New Orleans and New Orleans is a city in the State of Louisiana here in the U.S. they don’t speak French but their architecture and culture has a history of being inspired by France. In New Orleans only a small percent speak French compare to probably when the singer was alive back in the 1960s which was way over 30% which is probably why she put French words in the song talking about New Orleans. One last thing I’m as surprised as Lenny that the rest don’t know American slangs since it’s all over social media and Lenny saying Period Poo has been a thing for like over a decade now although people lately have just been saying only Period as of now.

It can mean someone did something really well, you’re congratulating someone, or even receiving a compliment — but it can vary depending on the context of the conversation. It’s kind of like the phrases “you ate that” or “tea.” These are terms started by Black Americans as well. Also, it’s true that AAVE (African American Vernacular English) varies between different states. AAVE is a rich, rule-based dialect that developed within Black American communities and has influenced mainstream slang, pop culture, and music around the world.It’s like our own language and phrases that only we can understand quickly. I grew up in a southern state, so even I’m sometimes thrown off by new phrases that come out, because we would’ve said something different than someone from the northern states 😭. Fun fact: in the South, “flaugin” means someone who’s putting on or acting like they’re something they’re not. “Slaw” means something is garbage or terrible, and “bit” means bro. Or can just be filler word. It might be confusing at first, but if you grew up talking this way, it is second nature. I hope I explained it well ☺️.

About the show its two hit songs of the artist agains each other, the groups are splitting up for the performances. and the crowd are voting for the 2 Kpopped songs from the group. Its for fun! the winner, doesnt get anything. Its soooo intersting. In the epsiodes u see how they meet each other and practice for the upcoming perfomances. Very intersting ^^
