The end reveal of this episode is always so crazy! If I remember correctly the young man at the Royal Military Academy hates Lee Wanik because it was said that his parents were killed after some noblemen attempted to kill Lee Wanik a few years ago but failed. That‘s why he needed a new identity and a guarantor to join the academy. It makes sense that the man shot Gu Dongmae, he knows too much and this could hurt the Righteous Army immensely. We as viewers know that his intention is to protect Go Aesin but to them he is a threat.
