2025-08-26 14:33:35 +0000 UTCThese eps had me panicking and cheering at the same time 😭 Seeing people finally realize how cool Zenitsu actually is makes me so happy. He might look like a crybaby, but the way he moves, it is insane. Fun little detail: the lightning, flames, water, etc. we see aren’t actually happening in the Demon Slayer world. They’re more like visual metaphors for the Breathing Styles for us viewers. So Zenitsu isn’t really blasting lightning, it’s a way to show just how fast and powerful his Thunderclap and Flash is. Same with Tanjiro’s water techniques, he’s not really summoning waves, it’s just an artistic way to capture the flow of his attacks. And this has been confirmed by the author so this is not up for debate. That sound Tanjiro heard was Zenitsu literally moving so fast he broke the sound barrier 😭👏 no lightning powers, just pure skill. Love the life lessons we learn in these episodes. You don’t need to know everything to be strong, even if you’ve mastered just one thing, it’s enough. And then Inosuke… if you notice, all of the main characters have flashbacks from their childhood or during critical points in their lives, but for Inosuke, his flashbacks are different, these recent moments where people were simply kind to him. It shows how alone he’s been his whole life, and now he’s finally learning what it means to care and be cared for. His development is gonna be so beautiful to watch. CAN’T WAIT FOR EP 19, SO EXCITED!!! I’m sat and ready to see y’all’s reactions!
