The ost in this anime is great in my opinion. It features a blend of Western and traditional Japanese instruments. Key instruments include the flute, which can be both a Western orchestral flute or the Japanese shakuhachi (a type of bamboo flute), the biwa (a Japanese lute), and sometimes the shamisen which is a three-stringed instrument. Also, the soundtrack utilizes piano and violin, often in combination with the traditional instruments.
