A lovely episode. Finn continues to grow and mature further. His relationship with PB is just so different from what it was in season 1. He’s able to talk to her on equal footing and even call her out when needed. Compared to that naive child influenced by his puppy love crush that followed orders blindly since that’s what being a Knight required. The Candy people subplot was hilarious. It definitely subverted my expectations as I was not expecting them to devolve into that kind of anarchy. Definitely really interesting how quickly they are to move on from their leader/mother being dead and immediately start electing new leaders. I would say that characterization is something to keep in mind for the simple minded candy folk.
