because Apogee is such a sickly creature she is basically dead sick at least once a month (at winter it could be really bad) and every time it strikes the stomach in some way and she cant even eat. Thats basically her diet and thats why she is so thin.
Also its extremely hard for her to get warm in general so you will find a lot of heating blankets at her place.
Or she will just cling to you like crazy to warm up.
Basically her body kinda sucks...
