Here is Machoke from this month's Pokemon Poll results. You may notice some major changes to the proportions from the earlier version:
As much as I love over-sized pecs, ultimately the goal of my Fan Arts Project is to capture the essence of the source material and execute in my styling.
While the inflated look of the original draft is more towards my persona preferences, I think Machoke's original look and design was kinda lost in the treatment. I've taken longer than usual but adjusted the proportions, especially the legs and chest, going for more of a "Hulkbuster" aesthetic.
Hope you guys enjoy this piece as much as I did creating it. See you in November for the next FAP!

2018-10-29 15:13:53 +0000 UTCWhile I'm mildly disappointed because I very much loved the first draft of him, I understand why you decided to change things up, and the finished piece looks great! Maybe you could keep that body shape/pose in mind for a future drawing, though. :D
