Housekeeping
Welcome to the first production blog for Project KAIJUCE (aka"Meatier Showers: SUPERSIZED"). The first 2 weeks of August have been pretty hectic, especially having to settle into a whole new work space and rhythm.
A big THANK YOU to all the new supporters who've recently joined in this foray. Regardless of whichever tier you've selected, every dollar goes a long way in helping pay for daily necessities.
Production Pipeline
As of this writing, the second draft of KAIJUICE had been sent to a small handful of beta readers. Most of the feedback has been positive, which is mildly disconcerting, since that's not something I would immediately expect from the initial drafts.
Comic page progress will continue to be released on the 5th of each month through scheduled posts, as well as the downloadable e-book versions (for Collector's tiers and above) being sent to eligible patrons.
Starting 20 August, we will officially embark on the next major phase of production - INKING - a crucial phase as it primes the draft copy to a production state that can be "locked in" for coloring. The goal is to have all 25 pages fully cleaned up - with missing details and placeholder images properly illustrated - ideally by early September.
