Tattoo - Sketch and Reference

Man. But this has such a nice flow to it! I really really REALLY like tattoos. I've actually painted on my bf a couple of times and it... it ignites something in me?? There is such a satisfaction and thrill from leaving a mark on skin, I get lost in the creation. Specifically, I rather like dark tattoos that twist and fill up the arms. So, so very nice...
Funny thing I have noticed is that I never draw my own tattoo. You can see it in the pics, it's on my left wrist. A simple band depicting the mountain top I grew up on with a triangle of the Pleiades, a constellation that guides me. This tattoo was meant to represent my first steps out of my home and into the world on my own. Why haven't I drawn it? Hmm. I think part of it is that I have been aching for a new one, my arm feels naked around it. I've reached a new level of my life that deserves a new milestone which I want represented by another tattoo. Alas, it is a little ways off, other things take precedence. Soon, hopefully.
