I don’t like the studio versions of Cornelia Street and Death By A Thousand Cuts and some others- the acoustic live in Paris versions are better to me. I have 0 music knowledge so I don’t know what I’m talking about but I think I’d say they are maybe overproduced since I like the acoustic better? I love all the girls you loved before. It feels midnights-y and thats my favorite album.

2025-08-14 20:55:57 +0000 UTCHAHAHHAAA yes Harry’s Hey Soul Sister was sooooo bad it makes me laugh so hard every time. “hhEEEyyyy SoUULll Siiister” 💀💀💀 So glad you both could immediately tell that he couldn’t hear the music though. If y’all noticed, on parts it said “Unseen Footage.” So up until a few years ago, all anyone had seen was his “Isn’t She Lovely” audition. Then X-Factor released a ton of unseen footage of all the boys, including showing how it was actually Nicole Scherzinger who put them together, not Simon Cowell like he had claimed for years 🙄. But it’s a good thing Harry has the personality and charm that he does because without it I don’t think he would have made it through!! So cool to see how much Harry grew in just 5 years after that audition, but all the boys grew so much too. It’s really crazy.

2025-08-14 03:29:35 +0000 UTCOK, Cooley, lay off the Duke fans. LOL. The thing I love about Harry's audition is that his stage presence and charisma were SO apparent, even then. He just charmed that audience effortlessly. I will say, I'm not sure Louis Walsh (the judge) was totally wrong, though - I don't think Harry would have been successful as a solo artist at that age. It was his time in 1D that helped him get the seasoning he still needed. P.S. Harry's mom, Anne, is still gorgeous and also seems like just the sweetest human alive.

I can’t wait for you to do his album. His three previous albums are worth a listen, as well! He’s only recently started performing live again related to anxiety. (I’m a mom (she) of 5, OB/peds RN for almost 20 years (music is my therapy and part of the reason I can do it day after day), and live way up on the Canadian border - like a 5 hour drive north of Portland) PLEASE do This is Us! It really is the best way to get a glimpse of them all as boys starting out. And it’s just a fun watch to see them live and behind the scenes in the early days❤️ Loved you watching peachfuzz Styles! Such a little entertainer from the start! Pretty sure everyone takes note of his beautiful mom 😂 she’s still gorgeous!

I had never noticed that, but Yungblud did sound like Robert Plant in some bits of that song... Nice! 3. Zayn's latest album is really good! The sound is very different from his previous ones, in my opinion. 4. I honestly don't know how the 1D boys got through their auditions... 🤣 Nicole Scherzinger really had a vision there (she was the one who had the idea of putting them together). Bless her!! I'm glad they did though (obviously). You really need to watch their This Is Us documentary to see the frenzy they created after the X Factor... It's interesting to see how it all happened. 5. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE RULES! Great episode, guys!! And thanks for the shout out 💜

Lover has soooo many good songs, but, at its roots, it's an album about being anxious in love rather than being secure in it. It would rank higher in Swiftie-tiers if it wasn't released between reputation and folklore, in my opinion, since those albums are *so* distinctly their own era.

2025-08-13 15:13:52 +0000 UTCI had the same reaction when I first heard Harry on that audition 😂 I think only Liam and maybe Zayn did well initially. But that's why they were formed into a group, none of them were quite good enough to make it as solo acts. They were gonna be cut from the competition. They obviously all had potential tho and worked their butts off to get better. The thing I think is really neat tho is how Harry turned out to be such a creative and excellent songwriter when he started out as just a school kid who wanted to shoot their shot on a reality TV show. It feels like it should have been his calling, but he was planning on going to college and living a regular life.
