Ok. I don’t know else to put in a request like this but here goes… I think you guys would love watching the Pop Star Academy docuseries on Netflix (and i think it would be popular for you to get views…). It follows the making of a global girl group using the k-pop method of training and development over almost 2 years (in 8-ish episodes) narrowing down from 120k+ auditions to the final group of 6 girls. The girls that are in the group now recently played for a crowd of 85k at lollapaloza and got their first VMA. They are on their way to potentially being huge. I was tempted to submit some of their stuff for TRL. But I think It would be interesting to watch you watch the show and try to guess who makes it into the final group. It’s really interesting to get an inside look at the pop music industry machine and the k-pop method and how they develop these girls talent. I think you’d actually like it a lot.

2025-07-24 01:08:56 +0000 UTCOne thing to think about when it comes to 1D, is that they all initially auditioned on the X-Factor as solo artists. They weren’t great individually at first, which is why they were put in a group and they made each other better! But as they all grew together and individually, they eventually had the chops to each be a solo artist. This is different from a lot of other boy bands, like Backstreet Boys or NSync, who pretty much were all always meant to just be in a group (except for Justin Timberlake of course). All that to say, it makes sense why almost every single 1D member has had a successful solo career in comparison to other boy bands. I hope that all made sense LOL but i just think it’s an interesting thing to think about.

Except for Connie Britton, pretty much the whole cast are REAL musicians and a lot of them actually still tour together today, years after the show ended. A lot of country artists made cameos on the show to kind of give their stamp of approval, a lot of them saying that from the perspective of country musicians, the show felt very realistic. Sanctuary is one of my favorites so I’m so glad it was requested! It was sung by Lennon and Maisy Stella; Lennon Stella is an incredible musician who has a couple really great albums. Her little sister, Maisy, is an amazing singer as well but she’s pursued more of an acting career than a music career. The man in the song, Charles Esten is a musician and actor who’s been around for a while; you might remember him as Chip from Who’s Line is it Anyway! Sorry that was really long, but i just felt like i needed to validate how good and authentic Nashville is LOL (it jumps the shark a little bit in later seasons but overall it’s great! 😂)
