What’s great is that there were other artists there like Metallica and slayer. So the audience mainly consists of those fans - people who have no idea who yungblud is. Then he just comes out and totally kills it. Within one song he wins them over. lol I don’t think there’s an official video on YouTube. They keep getting taken down. If you do check it out I highly recommend looking for a good video on TikTok or something because cell phone videos don’t do it justice and they don’t include the entire performance. At the end of the song, he goes a cappella and has the whole crowd singing along, but most of the videos are cut off before that happens.

2025-07-18 14:29:28 +0000 UTCyes listen to yungblud’s album! found him through mgk. may be the minority mgk fan here. something about the vulnerability in his lyrics, which realize is not your thing. can feel the pain in his depiction of anxiety, depression, mania, trauma, loss. it’s surprisingly self aware and can laugh at himself and be silly too. some questionable actions, associations, and lyrics, but his creative pursuits speak to me. the travis barker produced punk albums, singles and covers (i.e lockdown sessions’ Misery Business) are worth a listen, very nostalgic. i would start with the medley from jimmy kimmel jan 2021.

The first one I remember getting was Now 41 and that was in like 1998, a good 6 or 7 years before the songs on that Now 19 ad came out! 😅
