I think your experience would be elevated if you watch the musical on Disney+ as the visuals will help you understand the story better. The entire musical is rap/songs, no scenes with just talking. The scenery and choreography is fantastic and absolutely worth the watch!

But seriously, would love to see a full-length reaction to Hamilton. If nothing else, you need to watch the video of the Winter's Ball, Helpless, Satisfied section, because it is some of the most impressive staging/choreography I've ever seen! LMM is a true master!

AND the melodies in this song will make much more sense after you hear “Helpless” which is the song right before this one in the musical. *Spoiler incoming* all Hamilton melodies end up meeting each other by the end of the soundtrack so if you pair that with the video, you’ll be blown away for sure

2024-12-04 21:59:36 +0000 UTCYes! So excited for you both to discover this whole world within the soundtrack :) FYI, there is little to no talking in the stage play, it's all rap/music, so the soundtrack is basically the show without visuals. The show is on Disney+.

I would honestly recommend watching the musical though (in parts .. it’s long) and taking it in chronologically because a lot of the songs build on each other and it really helps you appreciate it all even more.
