Our Thoughts
Wow, the Taylor Swift episode was a great success in many ways. Thank you for all the suggestions and genuinely kind feedback.
What we find hilarious is that some of you assume we know more about Taylor than we do π€£
From a pop culture standpoint, sure, who doesn't know about her? Outside of that, almost everything we see from her is brand new. So, for every video you have wondered if we have seen, the answer is almost certainly "No, we haven't!" Haha!
In fact, this is JT typing...3 of my top 4 songs I had never heard until a few weeks ago. π€£
That said, we appreciate you die-hards handling us with kid gloves!! We promise we intended to celebrate her in that episode genuinely and will continue with said intent.
We react to all kinds of music here, and Taylor's career is a shiny new object to us. We have genuinely enjoyed her music, vibe, stories, and, most importantly, her fans. You're very thoughtful and very kind, and WE KINDA LIKE YOU!
We will continue to share our journey with you. I mean, we still have lots of the Eras tour to react to, right?!?!?!?!? Plus, all the stuff you have generously recommended.
The Ask
For now, if you've read this far, we'd ask you to go blow up the YouTube highlights video we will post later this afternoon on YouTube.
The Patreon episode lasted an hour and a half, whereas the YouTube video is only 23 or 24 minutes. If you're willing, watch it again, share it with someone you know who might like it, comment, or do whatever you can! I even added some more visuals and jokes so it doesn't feel like a rewatch (like when Lee mentions the Debut album is looking at him).
