Update regarding The Allbright System mechanics

Just a quick headsup for anyone not in the Discord and those of you who do not read RR Author Notes:
Going forward (and retro-actively being changed), the Attribute "Dexterity" will be renamed to "Finesse".
This is only a semantic change, no mechanics have been altered.
The reasoning for this change is that I've received vastly too many comments regarding the fact that Dexterity-based Characters in the novel seem "too slow", due to the expectations set forth by video games.
"Finesse" is a better semantic fit for my novel, as it does not actually govern speed whatsoever, but rather things like Hand-eye coordination (in combination with Precision), body control, muscle flexibility, and similar.
Strength is the Attribute that determines the power of your muscles, both fast and slow twitch, which means that it also governs your overall speed.
I hope that this semantic change will clear up some of the confusion going forward.

2023-06-16 13:22:20 +0000 UTCHuh, I guess I'm an anomaly, cause I never equate Dex to speed. Agility typically affects speed. If I read a story that has Dex but not Agi, I typically think speed is handled behind the scenes. I've always viewed Dex as how proficient one is at manipulating their body. Finesse is a good change.

2023-06-16 11:37:58 +0000 UTCIt certainly does for me. I was also going to leave a review saying that the relative speed of different characters didn't make sense considering the relative dex values, but I think I got sidetracked and never wrote it. This change clears that up nicely though.
