Loving Wan 2.1 still. I'm just going nuts with generation right now, but eventually I need to start playing with upscaling and frame interpolation since I've found I need to generate at 480x832 resolution to stay within my VRAM limitations.
I generated for nearly 3 days straight at this point just queuing up jobs ComfyUI. I'm continuing to refine the workflow. Hoping some optimizations will reduce the time it takes.
I'm comparing what I can do locally to what I can do spinning up instances in InstaSD which I recently discovered and is now my go-to for Cloud processing in ComfyUI. Done some comparisons with A5000, A40, and RTX 4090s. The 4090 takes only about 5 minutes using the BF16 model to generate 81 frames at my chosen resolution. Way better than 1.5-2 hours I'm getting locally on my 4060! And $1.20 per hour isn't bad.
Of course, as I'm typing this and have 10 jobs queued on my InstaSD instance, the whole service seems to have gone down. Hope I didn't lose much...
My tortoise of a local computer at least doesn't crash and keeps cranking stuff out, costing me only electricity. But, the hare of the Cloud computing can crank out videos at 20x the rate.
Anyways, here are a few choice clips for y'all. Enjoy your weekend!
