Today is a time to share with you my lingerie photoshoot of Philippa based on my own design!

My favorite thing about this lingerie, that the top of it is the top of the costume. It was a good decision to save our time, however you know that overall it wasn’t a quick process. According to the original bra I designed the whole set, making it unique. The whole lingerie was made by my seamstress and the details were added by me. So let’s look closer to it.

Golden lines of ages

First of all, I got 10 meters of 15 mm golden braid. When I planned how I would make all these letters, I thought that I would draw them with black liner. But at the very start I realized how bad this idea is – no matter how hard I tried to make them, they were crooked. Then I remembered about stamps used in nail art: you get metallic platten, put a bit of paint, remove the excesses with a card, take a silicone stamp and transfer the pattern to and then to the braid. I got everything for it and after several tries I understood that it’s not my variant at all – hard to transfer, platten often needs to be cleaned and very long. BTW, then I used a plate with alchemic symbols – pretty good for a witch. After that I didn’t want to refuse the stamp technique, so I asked my friend to 3D print me archemic symbols. So when I got them I glued each of them (about 20 pieces) to sticks. I put the sponge in acrylic paint (as real stamps) and started to transfer the symbols again to the braid – failure again – the best it could do for me is the circuit of symbols and, yes, rarely the paint worked right and also too long. And one night, doing a practice task for education, I took my old random printed tattoo and put it on the braid – Eureka! That was what I needed! I found the Glagolitic alphabet from Witcher Universe and in Photoshop I made 5 types of lines with probably real words XD I made a file for print and next day I got it – about 35 lines which I easily transferred to braid using a wet towel only. It was quick and simply the best looking thing of all I tried! And also good, when I sewed all the straps it didn’t fall apart!

Making everything fit

Philippa has a very interesting system of straps on her back. I made it that way: on the top’s upper part I sewed 1 frame and 1 ring from each side, they were holding 3 straps – one of the back on neck, two others as usual straps, every line had screws to remove them anytime I like, plus every braid had regulation with frames to make them longer and shorted. It was needed to make the dressing just available. All the braids were stitched by sewing machine. On difficult places such as “underboobs”, on top of the skirt I attached the braids by segments connected on joints by threads. The same process I did on suspenders and panties. On legs I decide to make holders with rings to pinch on them fasteners, very comfortable to wear and put them on. I needed regulation for everything, cause golden braids are not elastic at all.

Screw cord on elbows

This detail crushed my brain, I didn’t know how to work with screw cord – when you cut it, it literally disintegrates into tiny threads, no glue could hold it. After many attempts to cope with it I decided to cut new red suede details, and sew the cord the way when tips of it will be inside of the item. As a final move I burned the tips.

Owl business 

From January I had many white feathers. I made the owl pattern on them using cotton buds and black acrylic paint, one edge for application, another for shading. Got a pretty good result, didn't it?

Sorceress's braids

I decided to add to original hairstyle bangs around my face to correct it. For a little braid I cut a bit of hair from back, glued them all together and made a braid. Other two braid I made in classic style added a bit of volume to them by hands. 

Retouching

On Thursday, I will send you at least 3 photoshoots of December and maybe 1 of January. Others will be sent in March, sorry for making you wait for me! I’m making everything to make them as good as I can, hope you will love the results!
