RAVEN FROM DC | MAIN SET OF JANUARY

Hi, sweethearts! <3

Finally, I passed my winter exams in universiry with all "A", I'm happy with it and I will have some holidays til the middle of February (hopefully!)! And today it's time to present my "Main Set" of this month - Raven!

You could get my Main set from "My Gardener" tier to "My King" tier with full set and extra pics for last 3 days!

About costume:

I've already did 2 photoshoots of her, but didn't make her original look, how I dare - it's time to solve it! I got several her looks and combined them - I wanted bodysuit and gloves to be separeted + I loved sideboobs on my A2 costume and decided to repeat this styly. For costume we used varnish eco-leather - gives really cool reflection. Gloves are without "fingers" and have hidden zipper to be as sticky to me as they can. The same story to boots-stockings - they're like "cases" to my shoes. Bodysuit originally was planned as corset, when it was almost finish me and my seamstress found out that it really fit me well - so this idea was thrown away.  It took us 3 tries to reach this result and many hours of work my my seamstress, while I was preparing for my exams.  I didn't forget about the cloak, it would be on other shots.

About craft:

The pop of this look is chain - especially this little golden "pucks". As I remembered from my first photoshoot of Raven (with crystals) - red gems on chain are always about to turn to another side (that's why on that set while retouch I drew all the missing ones). I decided these items be two-sided - I had three ways: (1) made all of them from EVA - too long and I wasn't sure that I could make all of them equal, (2) made 1 from EVA and make a mold from it to fill it with hot-glue or plastic - wouldn't work cause of the shape of the detail, (3) print all of them on 3D-printer - my choice! And as always my friend helped me a lot. I made a little sketch in free 3D programm to explain what I need, said the sized. Than my friend showed me the final model and adviced me to make little holders for chains and printed the first one - it was great so we moved forward! In total we had 12 items, which should be: processed with photopolymer resin and overexposed in UV-camera -> cleaned -> processed with filler and primer and sandpaper (several times) -> grunted -> colored in gold with aerosol paint. Then I started to connect the chain. In this moment I should be very gentle - it was easy to crack the holders to put there little rings. After that I connected "pucks" with rings -> rings with chains (Golden Succubus one's) and like that 9 times. Several times I deleted and deleted the elements to reach the right length for chain to be on right place. Finally I put the gems on each puck for two sided - on set I felt how right I was - the chain was always turning. Other 3 pucks was used as decoration of neckline and hands. 

About makeup and etc:

The wig I used for all of my Raven sets. The new fake nails have very cool dark gradient design with stars. In the day of photoshoot happened the trouble - my eyeliner was finished and I didn't have a time to get the new one, so I did the whole eye- and lipmakeup with very dull pencil (it's not to be sharp), but I guess it turned out quite nice, how do you think?

About retouch: 

I hope to send 1-2 finished sets. Sorry for being so slow, I will retouch as fast as I can without loosing the quality. Hope you will forgive me and give me time to finish!
