CARMILLA | EXCLUSIVE SET #1 OF OCTOBER

Hi, sweethearts! <3

Today is a time to reveal my second photoshoot of October - lingerie version of Carmilla of Styria! I can't descibe how I love creating gothic outfits, I guess you could see it throught all my sets!

Suprisingly, but the most difficult part of making Carmilla was the bocal - yeah, this golden bocal. That's why I put it in every public shot - I want you to see it from any angle! So let's start from this point.

I don't know why I wanted to add this item to my photoshoot... I questioned myself a hundred times when I was making it. 

I got this bocal for shampange and then I got an idea to sculp on it with special plasticine and after that made a mold for the central part. This sounded good in my head until my friend, who is a crafter told me that my brilliant idea would take much more time and wouldn't work this way. The second idea was do everything from EVA - but, idk, it sounded like something which won't work. One night I remembered about wood clay, which I bought this summer. And I started my experiement: I took off the shape with masking tape, then transfered it to a graph paper, created a right sketch and sculpted it with clay. After that it took many of my hours I did the final decoration of full bocal. It dried for 48 or something. I polished it with sandpaper, primed with liquid nails. Coloring was a problem: I did about 5 or 6 tries to cover it with mirror golden paint I used for shoulder pads, but it didn't work right. One of the reasons was the bocal itself, its shape. I found the solution: I collected some of aerosol paint in a pot and then applied it to bocal with sponge. What could get wrong? Golden became brown... So I made a second layer with golden paint for miniatures. As final move I deleted all the unnecessary paint from glass with degreaser. YEAH, that's all my struggles with this little item XD

About the lingerie: I used very cool red lace for it, and it works exactly as I want it. It's used for top and collar (how could I do something without it XD). Bottom part I wanted to be a corset with this amazing lacing in back. This month I realized how to make a design of bodysuit, including corset part to keep the lingerie very comfortable (as the corset could be XD).

About retouch: Yennefer lingerie set is sent, Feast of Flowers and Burgundy Pearl and ready and I need to find a free time to send in, Cruella is in process, other sets are planned to be sent in November. Sorry for the long wait, dears! <3
