GLOSSY QUINN | EXCLUSIVE SET #2 OF SEPTEMBER

Marvelous autumn began and brought many new things to my life! First of all, next academic year in university, I could tell you that my timetable is killing this year - my study week is 6 days in a row! I would do everything to continue creating for you more cool photoshoots for you, but I guess it will be a bit harder cause of lack of time brr. Secondly, I continued my way for better mental health, I fixed my sleep and meal, try to go for a walks and avoid unnecessary stresses. And unfortunately, I got ill, hopefully I will recover very soon! 

My fisrt photoshoot of September is "Glossy Harley"! It's a continuation of my pink&silver Harley collection, which is inspired by Funko Pop Diamond version vinyl figure. That's my 5th photoshoot in this style! And now I'll start a story of my big mistake!

♡ About the idea: I was scrolling online-shops several months ago and I saw one pink harness and Idk how the thought "It will be cool, if it has a split with two colors" appeared in my head. Hmm, which character has divided costumes? Harley! And making the whole look with glittery covering was a question of time. 

♡ About the harness: it came to me BIGGER than I expected. So I paid my time to uproot almost all "pins", cut extra parts and drive in the new holnitens (silver buttons). When I finished with it I covered areas which should stay pink with masking tape and paper and colored everything in silver, preliminary primed it. Next step is cover everything with glitter - I used very much of it on this look! I tried some varients with PVA glue (it was said on net), with polish for hair and stopped on the working one for me. With brush I applied Crystal Glue, while it was liquid I sprinkled glitter with another puffy brush to make every millimeter covered, shook the detail of excess glitter, then covered it with hair polish and dried it with hair dryer (very important not to overheat - the eco-leather starts to deform). For chocker part I took extra leather which left after cutting, do the previuos steps dividing two parts, took the "PUDDIN" letters from original Harley collar and painted the in silver (with priming of course). Than I attached this part to harness with pins.

♡ About bodysuit: I took my old body, which suits perfectly to this look but I wanted to add card symbols (star and diamond) from Harley Quinn TV series. Transfer symbols from pad to paper, than cut them out, I took a piece of grey EVA-foam and cut the pieces. I took bodysuit fabrics and glued them to EVA. The final part is to sew them to costume.

♡ About wig: I decide to completely restyle it. The ponytails always was my headache - you just can't create them simply from a bought wig - you need to resew\reglue it. The second variant was my choice. I cut off the back part of the wig and glued strand by strand toward to the beginning of each ponytail. It gave me a good transition from neck to hair. Plus I restyled the bangs, made them more raised. I cut the wig a bit and straightened the hair. Hairpins was make of EVA.

♡ About the bat: I deleted all the phrased and paints from original bat with dimexide and sandpaper, degreased it and primed in white. Previous step was very long XD My idea was that it should be a huge candy! Top and bottom parts was covered in silver, decorations was created with pink glittery foamiran and simple grey EVA-foam covered in silver glitter. It was a tricky task to make the line be parallel to itself!

You would ask me - which mistake did you make? I would say - boots.

♡ About boots: I ordered white boots online - the model is "socks". I started to cover the as I do to the harness, BUT I didn't get that it's very movable thing. When I finished they look just amazing, just how I wanted them to be, I paid many hours and materials to make them. When I started to put them on... they started cracking... The prime+paint+ glitter started cracking and fell of...  You won't see it on pics, cause I photoshoped them XD But it was my real fail. IDK why I decide that it would work, idk, my fault. I can't decribe how upset I was. So right now I had two ways: retouch all the shot how it is done OR make the new boots-socks out of fabrics from which was body made. What would you recommend to me?
