MOONLIGHT FAIRY | EXCLUSIVE

Hi, sweethearts! <3

Finally I could present you my third photoshoot of August - "Moonlight Fairy"! It way a long way to complete this original set and I will tell you the story of it!

I started making this costume in April. Made the fisrt sketch of it, the main fabric should be organza. My seamstress did the corset using this material and we faced an issue  - the item crumbles very badly, I didn't know how make everything works I decided to change the concept. Then I've already did the wings and handcuffs: two main materials were PVC (2mm) and rainbow  film for flowers - plastics. For wings I drew the form on paper, cut it out and trasfer it to PVC, the same thing was made for handcuffs. All these details were primed, and colored 2 times with silver aerosol paint. Finally I glued the film to PVC details from back side. But the thing was that cuffs should be curved - so I needed to heat it without damage - very slow and low heat with building hair dryer. Need too say, that I didn't get good result from the first time, I took me 2 spoiled handcuffs to reach it. 

Next months I had my exams and Triss costume, which took all of my time, so I postponed this cosplay. In July I returned to it. I sketched the new designed - for several weeks I didn't manage to catch in my mind what I want to see. One day, when I was finding swimsuits in Internet-shops I noticed interesting item with the same details you could now see as my bra - gathered fabric with elastic - and I used it as base to collect the whole lingerie. Plus I was very inspired by many dresses with drapery of light fabrics. In my lingerie we used lilac-grey tulle, the model has corset lacing on back.

I continued crafting. My first move was adding the back side on wings, to make it look good from any angle. On Pinterest I saw the dress with similar shoulder decorations. I also drew the shape on paper and did all the same steps as for wings and handcuffs. They were attached to lingerie on grey velcro. I added lacing on handcuffs to make them be attached to me. I checked the look - hmm, "nothing on head" - I ordered many flower types: azaleas, begonias, chysanthemums and others. Shaped floral wire, glued the hairpin and attached the flower. Completed the detail with butterfly wing. 

Where did I get the wing and etc. patterns? Nowhere, it's just abstrastions and fly of fancy. 

The wig is stylied in Hollywood waves method, I told you I love this XD

I hope this for me a little bit of swifty story tells you why I wasn't very actiive in media. Of course I can't consider all the moments which accompany every photoshoot, many funny and not so situations exist in every cosplay or lingerie set. But I love to share some of them with you! Hope you like it too!
