It is prettier to lay your model on the grass, but the skin is bound to attract some dirt and specs.
I don't mind, it is part of the natural charm of candid pictures, so I usually don't retouch them.
If you feel the urge to remove this blade of grass with your hand it is normal, I feel the same impulse when I'm there with the models, purely for professional reasons of course, but I try to resist.
The best option is to put a blanket on the ground, so the model stays clean, but it does not look as good in the photos.
But speaking about locations, I had the chance to explore a new place on Sunday, an abandoned hospital, a huge place and perfect stage for my Apples!
I will post some BW pictures (yes, they look better in monocrome, with the Acros film simulation on the X100VI) in the following days, as bonus pictures to regular Patreon posts, and you can start imagining what I will be up to this Summer...
